What can I send from the uKabobs.com site? How do I send any Computer Files?
You can send any computer files from our site. The entire process is broken down in three simple steps. These steps are upload, send and download. See the description of each process below:
Upload: The first part of the entire process is uploading. You can upload a file using our upload routine links listed on any page. During the upload we process and format your file as necessary. At this point, you can send the files using the send routine.
Send: You are allowed to send to mobile/cell phones, emails or computers. Simply use the "Send to Mobile" link on the page to start the send routine. You can send via MMS(if qualified) or WAP. Follow the on screen help to make your choice.
Download: The final part is receiving or downloading. If you are downloading to a computer, you’ll pretty much be able to download anything you sent using the send process. You can determine if a particular uKabob will work on the recipient’s mobile phone or not simply by looking at the uKabob details page. Click on the uKabob thumbnail anywhere on the site to get to the uKabob details page. Please pay particular attention to the “Compatibility:” field on this page as this field gives you important information regarding the compatibility of the uKabob.
uKabob is always sent to an email address if provided during the transaction. If the recipient cannot view a uKabob on the mobile phone, it can always be viewed on a computer. Simply browse to the uKabob download link from your computer in order to view/download the uKabob.
We do not maintain a list of compatible mobile phones because such list will always be out of date and inaccurate. There are so many new mobile phone models introduced everyday with a huge range of features. As long as a mobile phone meets the requirements listed above, it should be able to receive uKabobs.
How do I earn money?
As an author/contributor (seller) you earn a 40% royalty on every sale of your item. uKabobs LLC keeps accurate accounting records of all sales and provides a real-time transaction report and a Monthly statement for you in your myKabobs area of the website. uKabobs LLC deducts various credit card expenses, sms billing expenses and overhead associated with running the site prior to calculating your royalty payment.
How often do I get paid?
You can request a payment from uKabobs LLC at any time, however, we would appreciate you not request a payment until your total sales exceeds U.S. $50.00. The payments can be requested from your myKabobs area.
Which download link do I click on?
If you send via WAP option, you may receive multiple download links. If you know the format that is compatible with your phone, click on the download link for that format. If not, try any/all of the download links.
Can I use my PayPal account to pay for my transactions or to receive payments?

What is SMS billing?
SMS (short message service) billing is a method for paying for a product or service by sending a purchase request and purchase confirmation from your mobile phone to a specified short code number (e.g. 88000).
How does SMS billing work with the uKabobs.com site?
Once you decide to send a uKabob to a mobile phone using the SMS billing, you will be instructed to send a short message requesting your purchase (e.g. go ukabobs 123456). You will then get a response asking you to confirm your purchase. If you want to proceed with the purchase you reply “Y” to the confirmation message. That’s it, once the uKabobs site receives your confirmation, your uKabobs is on its way.
Should I use my credit card or SMS billing?
A credit card transaction is the fastest and easiest way to send your uKabobs. It has some advantages over SMS billing. For example, a credit card transaction allows you to enter personalized message for the recipient. It also gives you the option to deliver your uKabob to an email address in addition to a mobile phone. SMS billing has several price, carrier and country restrictions and is not always available for each uKabob. If both methods of payment are available the choice is yours.
Why can’t I use SMS billing for all my transactions?
SMS billing is very complex with many different layers of price points, carrier, country restrictions and technical requirements. Currently, the uKabobs.com site supports SMS billing with those carriers listed on the site. If your mobile carrier is not listed, then please use your credit card to purchase your uKabobs. SMS billing has no impact on the uKabobs.com site delivering your uKabob on-time to the mobile phone of your choice.
Do mobile phones need internet access to receive a uKabob?
No, it is only required if you are sending via WAP.
Can I use my credit card to purchase a uKabob?

What is an anonymous transaction?
An anonymous transaction is a onetime transaction. This is the easiest way to send your personal multimedia to someone without even registering to the site. It allows the sender to send a uKabob in just a few clicks. Your uKabob is not available for re-sending since it is not tracked or kept after the transaction is complete.
Why do I have to register?
Only sellers of uKabobs have to register. The information required for registration will allow the uKabobs team to apply payments due for items sold.
Is there a size limit on the content I upload?
Our size limits are very generous and they are listed during the upload transaction.
Can I add a category for my content?
The uKabobs support team has the responsibility for adding and deleting categories on the site. If you have a suggestion for a new category, please email us at support@ukabobs.com.
How many times can I download the content I purchased?
Purchased content can be downloaded only once per link.
Can I sell content that I don’t own?
NO. The uKabobs support team will make every attempt to protect copyright laws for content owners. When an infringement is reported, the uKabobs.com support team will remove the item in question from the uKabobs.com site within a 24 hour period.
What if I don’t want the uKabob someone sent to my sell phone?
If you do not want to view the uKabobs you received. DO NOT DOWNLOAD the file when asked to do so.
What type of files can I upload?
